I thought I would start my first series of Mexico posts with a beach look. I mean why not? Mexico is all about the beaches right! I know for me whenever I venture off on a vacation, half my battle revolves around “what to pack for the beach”.
Really if you think about it, about 80% of your time spent on a tropical vaca is spent on the beach, in beachwear. So why not make it a look… Because when you go from breakfast to beach to the ocean to lunch (on the beach of course) to cocktails after the beach you want to make sure that you look good and effortless doing it all.
So is there a trick to it…? I would say make it your own.
This look was a sort of a “What would Taye do in the 80’s” beach vibe. Wire headband and all.. When packing think of themes with the stuff you already have..and then add the pieces you need afterwards. Gather inspo from magazines and online outlets. There is no shame in seeing a look and doing a version of the same. The themes will come to you quickly.. Trust me.. it’s super fun to plan and even better when you are on the beach “doing it for the gram”.
