I have been wearing these track pants non stop. With heels, with sneakers.. to bed… Nothing seems to be off limits here. But before I get into that I have to share a little story with you..
Let’s take a little trip down memory lane.. 2005.. Cannes, France to be exact..
Wayyyy back in 2005 I took a trip to the Cannes Film festival with a dear friend and after agonizing over packing the perfect outfits for all the amazing premieres and parties I was to attend.. I showed up to Cannes.. but my luggage did not. Like not a single thing.. I spent 5 days in the South of France with the black and white Track Pants I wore on the plane, a denim jacket.. along with a small carry on that had all my make up, Thank GOD!! ..and one bikini bottom… I know.. don’t ask.. That bikini bottom introduced my bare boobs to the beaches of Cannes.. when in Cannes with no bikini top do as the French do.. ha!
For the next few days when I was not nude on the beach…those track pants where the base of most outfits.. dressy outfits..casual outfits..etc.. So now rocking these track pants (which I have had for a month and have worn them more times than I can count on one hand) sort of takes me back to 2005.. Cannes.. when my track pants saved the days and nights..
So glad they are making a comback..
FYI.. our luggage arrived the night before we left Cannes.. Can you imagine…..
