Every now and then along with my neutrals, blacks, blues and greys I throw in a pop of color.. And what better color to pop than red. A bright orange red at that. This was my day 3 (I think) look at NYFW. The days are all starting to blend now. Easy and simple.. I felt like being super cool.. and I mean cool as in it was hot and ultra humid that day.. So super comfy was the name of the game! Nothing says comfy like your lower half in what can best be explained as an ode to pajamas…

…Wait.. back to the pop of red. Lips, top and scarf made it all come together. My grandma likes to refer to this as tying it all together. Until now I actually had an aversion to that phrase.. but I get it now.. totally get it!

… And now can we skip right to the shoes.. I know a good chunky heel is in… but a good low, not quite kitten status heel is so very chic.. BTW don’t get me wrong.. I am a huge fan of a good kitten heel..
