SHOP THE POST

Lately I have been getting  the same or a similar version of a comment about certain items of clothing..
and I quote..

“I could never pull that off”

And now I am here to tell you to eliminate that phrase from your vocabulary.
Pulling off a look has just as much to do with your confidence as it does with with the actual item you are wearing.

All of us want to follow the trends of the moment and be “in Style”.   Yet feeling like we could never pull off a look as we see it in a magazine or on a celebrity or even on a blogger is a common thing.

There is one key element to being stylish, trendy and of the moment… The word is Modify!  Modify the look to suit you!  If you want to wear those trendy Flares jeans.. but you feel like a super flare is too much.. get a version that is less flared.. maybe even an exaggerated boot cut.  If you have been dying to wear a crop top.. but feel like you cant pull it off.. make sure to pair it with a higher waist pant or skirt.  If you have been wanting to try a mod A line dress or skirt but feel like you can’t pull if off because they are short.. seek out the to the knee versions or throw on some opaque tights and to the knee boots.

There are so many varieties to the way we can pull off a trendy look and stay in style without becoming total victims of fashion.  Your clothes are an expression of you.. so add a little you into the trend and you will never go wrong.

Thanks so much. Yes they are a bit pricy. Stay tuned. I'll do a round up of all my fav overalls at every price. Thanks for sparking that idea.
