There are some days where a craving simply takes over.  Concentration is at a minimum and nothing you seem to eat can satisfy the urge you have for whatever it is your body wants.    Now it’s been a while since I was in Martha Vineyard..but the one thing that sticks out in my mind is the seafood.  I am a lobster, crab, shrimp loving woman and when these foods are at their finest nothing can compare.

So when I kept hearing about Knuckle and Claw and their authentic Martha’s Vineyard split top sandwiches and lobster rolls I had to go see first hand what the fuss was all about…
…And let me tell you.. the fuss is about everything!   First off,  the minute you walk into this cute little order at the counter seafood joint you are greeted by some of the nicest peeps in LA.  Super helpful.  Super accommodating.. and just plain awesome!  That’s almost enough to make you go to a place whether you like it or not.  I mean I felt right at home the minute I stepped in the door.   The place smells like buttery lobster heaven.  Yup I’ll take one of everything, and that’s exactly what I did.  Now before you get all crazy.. the menu is small and to the point..

4 split tops
1 lobster grilled cheese
2 soups
2 sides
7 drinks
5 chocolate bars.
The Split tops are heaven on freshly baked buttered bread, the soup is creamy and delicious (lactose intolerant peeps beware), the slaw is so yummy, the Rose Lemonade and Erva Yerba Mate are to die for and to top it off every order comes with a huge yummy  pickle!  Okay just writing this I am already planning my trip back!
I was so full that I didn’t get to try the Chocolate Bars.  Sad face.. there is always next time!
Its all so freaking delicious!    Easy and breezy!

Knuckle and Claw.. Yum!
