This is what a friend who I had not seen in a while told me within five minutes of seeing me the first time I wore my new 1-DAY ACUVUE® DEFINE™ Brand Contact Lenses. I have always had a special thing with eyes. I truly believe that they are the windows to the soul. A person’s eyes are the first thing we notice, the first thing about a person that truly captivates us. So when someone has extraordinary eyes we are all intrigued, are we not?
As women we pluck our eyebrows, apply eyeshadow and eyeliner daily and pile on copious amounts of mascara to enhance that feature that we know can win over the hearts and minds of the people we come in contact with daily. So when the awesome folks at the ACUVUE® Brand asked me to partner with them and try out their new eye enhancing lenses I was naturally curious. The questions began to pile on.
… and to my questions came answers…
…But before we get to those answers let me tell you about my experience. I will start by saying that my eyes met the 1-DAY ACUVUE® DEFINE™ Lenses about a month ago and they have become a part of my everyday beauty routine. Just as I apply make up every day, I put in my contacts every day. They make my eyes stand out in a way that simply applying make up alone can’t. Being that I have naturally light brown/amber colored eyes, they can sometimes get lost in the mix. But when wearing my NATURAL SHIMMER™ Lenses my eyes get that little pop that they need, and because my eyes are unique to me, my lenses enhance my eyes differently than they will enhance yours. Everyone’s eyes will get the added depth and dimension but it will be individually unique to you.
Okay so back to the questions at hand..
1. What is it?
1-DAY ACUVUE® DEFINE™ Lenses are a one day disposable contact lens built to enhance your natural eye
color without altering it.
2. They are not colored lenses, but rather eye enhancement lenses.
3. They are prescription lenses that you will need to see an eye doctor for, but they come in both vision correction and non-vision correction so anyone can wear them daily.
4. They are one-day lenses so you put new ones in every morning.
5. The limbal ring is that dark line around the iris of the eye. Ever see someone with beautiful blue or green eyes and they have what appears to be a black outline that makes the color pop? That’s the limbal ring. We all have it… just some more than others. These lenses give you a more pronounced limbal ring which gives the appearance of whiter whites, youth and glow! When I wear them no one knows I am wearing contacts. They just know that something is different. When your eyes pop for the rest of world… the rest of the world starts to pop for you!

information for contact lens wearers: 1-DAY ACUVUE® DEFINE™ Brand
Contact Lenses are available with and without vision correction. An eye
care professional will determine whether contact lenses are right for
you. Although rare, serious eye problems can develop while wearing
contact lenses. To help avoid these problems, follow the wear and
replacement schedule and the lens care instructions provided by your eye
doctor. Do not wear contact lenses if you have an eye infection, or
experience eye discomfort, excessive tearing, vision changes, redness or
other eye problems. If one of these conditions occurs, remove the lens
and contact your eye doctor immediately. You should never share your
lenses with anyone else. For more information on proper wear, care and
safety, talk to your eye care professional and ask for a Patient
Instruction Guide, call 1-800-843-2020 or visit Acuvue.com.
