I hope you guys and gals had a really great weekend. Mine started with a bang and ended with a bang. How many of you got a chance to watch the VMA’s? I didn’t get the chance to see them.. but loving the red carpet looks from some of my faves.

It’s been super hot here in L.A. leading me to want to throw shorts on constantly. Denim has been a favorite amongst the last few weeks but sometimes you have to switch it up. These little vegan leather beauties are pretty new to my closet but are getting some great mileage. I have been throwing them on with everything from a simple white or black tee to super embellished tops and jackets. There is beauty in Simplicity. I adore a good well put together look complete with chunky necklaces, blazers, rings…the works.. I also love a great simple top and shorts. Here I have split the difference. All black and a pop of electric blue.. makes for simplicity yet catches the eye at the same time.
