Before we begin.. I want to define a word that will be used in this post.. (not that I am the first to use it.. but this is my meaning)

meaning: Fantastically Fashionable Folks

I was up last night..  Organizing my
apartment (with the help of a really good friend)  and as we were sifting through the tons of stuff that has accumulated in the last year since the last really big clean out,  a great percentage of that stuff being gift bags from the various events I attend every week,  I got to thinking.    I have not actually posted about one of those event here is a really long time.  I guess with instagram my mind gets tricked into thinking that I have actually written about wherever I am.. Gotta Love that Insta..

Anyhow.. with that,  thought  why not post about some of my favorite events last week..

So here we are .. Four outfits..Four super cute events..full of FASHTASIC people

The first.. and this is in no particular order..

The Natalie Alcala x Beckley  Fall Shopping Soiree.

Hosted by one of my favorite gals.. and up until I cut my hair a few months ago, my sista from anotha mista Natalie Alcala this little soiree did not disappoint.  I adore a good shopping party with awesome drinks (by none other than the awesome mixologist Billy Ray),  Nail art by Scratch and a bunch of uber fashtastic L.A. peeps all in one room.

A big ole THANK YOU to Racked LA for the super sweet comments about me.  This Stella McCartney Jumper happens to be an old favorite..
For a complete story and more peeps who attended head over to Racked LA.

Next is the Margo & Me x Marimekko event.

Hosted my the uber cute Jenny Bernheim.  We came.. we made our pups the cutest chain linked doggy collars with Marimekko fabric… and if you were like me.. made a matching bracelet for yourself.   I could not help myself!!   With the food provided by one of my faves Monsier Marcel (I blogged about them way back in 2011 HERE)  Seriously like the best Quiche ever..  This event made my entire Saturday.

Next was the Man Repeller x Simon Doonan x Barneys NY event at the Grove L.A.  If you are not familiar with both..  take a second to Google the awesomeness!   Both were on hand to sign their newly printed books and let me tell you,  the lines were long and the drinks were amazing!   Racked LA was in the house asking folks what the first book they ever read was..  Scroll down just a tad to see my answer.  Thanks Racked for another awesome mention of me on your site..  I’m feeling the love.

and last but never least..

The ever classy Kelly Of Kelly Go Lightly partnered up with Glade to throw a super fun Emmy’s viewing party at the Sunset Tower hotel.  We got dressed up.. we walked the red carpet and we ate and drank while watching the Emmy’s Telecast.   Me and a few select others screaming the whole time as our fellow actors won or didn’t win in their categories.
