This day in NYC was HOOOOOT!  I was at Lincoln Center to shoot do an interview with amazing Styled to Rock designer/contestant Ebony White for her upcoming show.  But like most days on the quad of Lincoln Center, I ran into
friends. started conversations, got photographed and decided to have Nikia Phoenix snap a couple shots of what I had on.  You can’t tell in these pics.. but I was sweating like a mad woman.

I thought a slight retro feel would be fun.  When I look back,  retro seemed to be my subconscious theme at NYFW.   Everyday my outfits had a slight retro feel.  All different era’s but retro elements none the less.

This look was sightly sixties..  including a hair flip that melted with in 5 minutes of me being outside.  The temperature was in the mid 90’s and super humid.

I have to say my favorite part of this ensemble are all the chunky jewels and the amazing bag.  Not only  because I was on the list of Refinery 29’s 46 best bags of New York Fashion Week.  Although I have to admit…THAT WAS FREAKING AWESOME!!  But because I heart big chunky pretty jewelry.
