Moving forward..
This week I
attended a Mad Men Style afternoon cocktail party sponsored by Blue Diamond Almonds and The lovely Kelly Lee and thought how perfect is this Coccolilly Dress. The stylist in me just loves to get all dressed up the vintage way. Although there are not many opportunities to do so. So when this invite came in I was stoked! I mean how could I not be. The attention to detail in 50’s, 60’s made both era’s so darn chic. Hair, nails, jewelry, dresses and make-up. All done to perfection.. Ladies got dressed.
…And surprisingly it did not take me all that long to get ready. Quick flip of the hair (which fell a bit).. Bold black eyeliner and a swipe of red on the lip. Nothing crazy. It all came together.. I had so much fun that who knows, I may just do this more often.
