In keeping with tradition from last summer.. Courtney K and I decided that an OUTFIT TUESDAY Bestie Edition was in order while he was here in L.A.

This is what we wore to The L.A. Taste Makers Garden Party that I co-hosted this weekend at the Donna Karen Urban Zen store in West Hollywood.

My idea with this outfit was not not be “Gardeny” at the Garden Party. I wanted to be free flowing and easy going but sleek at the same time. Hence the flowing trousers, slightly disheveled hair contrasted against the Leather Moto Jacket and heavy brass jewelry.

I am absolutely in lust with this jacket.. I marched in to Barneys NY with the full intention of buying a black leather jacket.. something I still desperately need in my wardrobe.. and have been unsuccessful in my quest. Needless to say I left with a limeish..yellowish..Moto Leather jacket.. and although my world is not quite complete..its pretty darn close.. Can’t wait to wear this… like all the time!

Courtney was his usual awesome self. I adore the way he styled himself for this event. Simple yet eye catching. A mans wardrobe choices should always be simple yet eye catching… And although you cannot see it in these photo’s he had the perfect little gold YSL pen at his collar!

Side note: I love that the beautiful Reena Patton photo bombed me.. another serious mover and shaker in Hollywood! You can’t see it here.. but she has the most amazing hair too!
