I am always utterly shocked at the amount of people who live in NYC and have never been to my favorite spot on the corner of Prince and Elizabeth, Cafe Habana.
So I decided to do a very quick food post..
Whenever I travel to my second favorite coast I make it a point not to miss this place..Cafe Habana is always…always…always.. on my itinerary!
And the Corn is why!! Seriously the best corn on the planet..
For $4.25 you get two whole pieces of grilled corn covered in Chili powder, Lime and Cotija Cheese..
..does it get better than that?
I have to say I go for the corn but the whole menu is amaze. Super authentic and yummy. Pretty much the only Mexican food I eat. I have seriously never gone wrong with anything I have ordered and I have been eating at Cafe Habana for years!
So if you are in New York..or traveling to New York..make Cafe Habana your first stop.
But prepare to wait because the place is always packed..
They have two locations in New York and one in Malibu..which I do get to from time to time..
Cafe Habana..I “Like”
Taye 😉
