FASHION FRIDAY..

SO this is the first FASHION FRIDAY that I have shot since I had my Hip surgery one month ago.  It has definitely been an interesting month.  Surgery is quite crazy on the body.. from the drugs you have to take to the sheer inability to pretty much do anything for yourself.. I have to say it is a very humbling experience, really helps you appreciate your limbs and your friends..Who all took shifts coming to my aid..going as far as getting each others numbers and coordinating without me to make sure I was completely taken care of…  I bow my head to them!!!

Anyhow… Since I will be on crutches for as least two more weeks I thought …Why not..These Crutches are now a part of my everyday wardrobe…and I have somehow made them work.  Even with heels …but shhh please don’t let my doctor find out that last bit..don’t think he would be to happy 🙂

The story of this little shoot…

A few nights ago Jason the photog and I were on our way to an art exhibit at Space 15 Twenty when we saw a wall.. neither one of us had to say a word..we both new that the exhibit would have to wait.  Needless to say we never actually made it.  After shooting and being met with some serious characters in the streets of Hollywood we decided to head to Urth Cafe for a little sugar rehabilitation.  Organic of course.

I actually love this shoot because it is so far away from most of the other shoots for FASHION FRIDAY..I actually have ZERO accessories on… and I am a firm believer that the more accessories the better.  But this night I happen to not have any on.  I guess I just wanted to be bright in my clothes..  

I mean a tank and jeans never really goes out of style..super simple..super comfortable.. and yes you read right ..That is actually a sports bra from Target under my tank.  I have been searching for a florescent tank or bra for a while no with no success…and walking past the fitness section of Target there they were..a bunch of florescent sports bras..hey sometimes you gotta improvise!
